In this grotesque carnival called life, everyone jumps and dances according to his own prescribed role. There's the one eyed trapezist twirling and cavorting with devastating charm and mock-easiness on a thin tight line, the twisted blue monkey chittering and swinging rotten apples for any reward, the porcelain faced doll, singing and simpering in front of her mirror, the hairy iguana eating malformed mice, the grinning black-toothed three year old, wizened and shrieking abuse, the three legged dwarf, the twins with four heads, and all manners of creatures who attempt to imitate their masters. Then there are the dominators themselves; smirking and caressing their creations, caricatures of shadows addicted to their own imagined power...

... on and on the list goes... an eternal legion of obtuse perversion and mutilated thought.

Through it all, I wander, Masqued in decadent inconsistencies - with a blank face betrayed sometimes by dead eyes - black holes of pain.

Trailing tears and forgotten dreams. Enroached upon by alien strangers and gross intruders, I scream silently within the confines of my skull.

Whispering suffocation, I breath deeply... and start to write...
